Double-fired French 2x2 cm Porcelain mosaic tiles - also known as Unglazed Ceramic. This tile is manufactured by Winckelmans and has an impervious matt surface. It is very durable and hard-wearing as well as frost and UVA resistant. Each tile weighs approx 3g. This bag contains approx 150 tiles of mixed colours from across the range. The colours closely approximate natural stone colours and are useful in recreating Roman or Byzantine mosaics and for subtle backgrounds when combined with vitreous glass.
