Effetre Glass Rods

26cm lengths of 5/6mm diameter glass rods in gorgeous colours made by Effetre of Murano. This glass is compatible with all other COE 104 products from Effetre such as Lastre or moretti glass sheets and millefiori. Very popular in producing Opus Sectile inclusions. These rods can be cut using wheeled nippers to create tiny round tesserae or laid lengthwise to create lines or borders.

We happily have a high proportion of successful glass deliveries, and we do our utmost to pack them so that they will not be damaged. However, please be aware that glass and mirror are uninsurable and we cannot guarantee that the items will not break in transit. The larger the piece the more possiblity of damage. Please take that into consideration when placing your order.
